Business and investment visas

There are a number of visa options for people seeking to undertake
a business visit, own or manage a business in Australia, or invest in Australia.

This provisional visa is for people with business skills. It lets you operate a new or existing business in Australia.

    • This provisional visa requires you to invest at least AUD $2.5 million in Australian investments that meet certain requirements and maintain business or investment activity in Australia.

 

 

This provisional visa is for people who invest at least AUD $5 million in Australian investments that meet certain requirements and maintain investment activity in Australia.

This provisional visa lets holders of a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188) in the Business Innovation stream extend their stay in Australia.

This provisional visa lets holders of a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188) Significant Investor stream holders extend their stay in Australia for up to 4 more years.

For start-up and early-stage entrepreneurs endorsed to develop their concepts and nominated by a State or Territory government agency.

This temporary visa stream lets you visit Australia for up to 3 months for business reasons.

Specialised Work stream of this temporary visa lets you do short-term, highly specialised work in Australia for up to 6 months. It is suitable if you have specialised skills, knowledge or experience.

This is a permanent visa for people who have an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in an eligible field.

A provisional visa is a temporary visa which may lead to the grant of a permanent visa if the holder meets certain conditions.
