Connect Australia Pty Ltd
Business Advisory & Practical Support
Hello. We are Massud Zhouand and Jessie Emily Zhouand, a husband-and-wife team based in St Leonards, Sydney. We help company directors, business owners, regulated professionals, charities and small organisations bring order to complex matters. Our work combines practical business advisory, operational planning, records organisation, clear written material and coordination with the professionals you choose.
Business Advisory & Non-Lending Support
How Can We Help Your Business Move Forward?
We help you clarify the situation, identify practical priorities and organise the work needed for the next step. This may involve business records, operational problems, an application, a regulator’s notice or several advisers working on different parts of the same matter.
Business Situation Mapping
We bring together the history, people, documents, unresolved questions and immediate priorities. You receive a clearer factual picture of what needs attention and which issues require specialist advice.
Practical Business Planning
We help turn agreed operational priorities into a working plan, with defined tasks, responsibilities, supporting information and follow-up. Business decisions remain with you.
Records & Administration
We organise correspondence, existing records, project histories and supporting documents into an accessible structure. Gaps and inconsistencies are recorded for clarification rather than filled with assumptions.
Stakeholder Communication
We prepare factual briefing notes, meeting material and authorised correspondence. We track agreed actions and help keep communication between the people involved orderly and consistent.
Applications & Submissions
We assist with evidence gathering and non-legal written material for grants, organisational applications and administrative processes. Any legal or tax content is handled by the appropriate qualified adviser.
Professional Coordination
We prepare briefing packs, organise information requests and coordinate agreed tasks with your chosen professionals. We do not replace their advice, exercise their statutory functions or make decisions on their behalf.
Tell us what has happened, what you need and any stated deadline. A brief outline is enough for the first discussion.
We set out the proposed work, boundaries, responsibilities, fees and any required professional involvement before substantive work starts.
We organise the material, prepare agreed outputs and track the practical tasks within the accepted scope.
Core Advisory Capabilities
What Else Can We Help You Organise?
Some matters need a practical plan. Others need careful coordination across records, people, applications and professional advice. We help with the administrative work around those issues, within a clearly agreed scope.
Director Crisis Support
We help directors organise notices, correspondence, company records and competing priorities. Our work includes factual chronologies, action lists and adviser briefing packs. Legal obligations and response deadlines must be confirmed with the appropriate qualified adviser.

View DGR administrative support →Grant & Submission Writing
We organise the criteria, supporting evidence and factual narrative for grants and non-legal submissions. We identify unsupported claims and missing information, and prepare material for your review. Assessment and award decisions remain with the relevant organisation.
View grant and submission writing →Complex Matter Structuring

We provide administrative support for doctors, nurses, teachers and other licensed professionals dealing with complaints, notices or registration matters. We organise the records; legal strategy, representation and specialist opinions remain with the professionals you engage.
View professional support →Government Engagement & Advocacy
We prepare factual briefing notes, meeting material and authorised correspondence. We do not promise access, influence or favourable decisions. Any applicable registration, disclosure or authorisation requirements must be addressed before an approach is made.

How Do We Work Through a Complex Matter?
We start with the records, not a polished story. We establish what is documented, what is disputed, what is missing and which questions need specialist advice.
Within the agreed scope, we help gather and organise primary records: notices, emails, correspondence, invoices, meeting notes, policies and existing submissions. Originals and their source context are preserved.
We compare dates and accounts against the available documents. The chronology distinguishes recorded events, disputed points, missing material and questions for the client or adviser.
We prepare an organised document index, factual summary and agreed briefing material. Your chosen professionals address legal, tax, insolvency and other specialist questions.
Why Does Early Organisation Matter?
Missing records and unanswered questions can make a difficult matter harder to assess. Bringing the available material together helps you and your advisers identify what needs attention. It does not replace professional advice or change any deadline.
Urgent notice or deadline? Obtain appropriate professional advice promptly. Do not wait for us to respond before protecting your position. An enquiry does not confirm that we have accepted the matter or responsibility for any deadline.
Our work begins only after written acceptance and the agreed commencement requirements have been met. See our Terms of Engagement.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions About Our Work
What business advisory support does Connect Australia provide?
We provide practical operational planning, situation mapping, records organisation, non-legal case management, factual writing and professional coordination. Our work is administrative and strategic; it is not a substitute for regulated professional advice.
Can you help when a regulator’s notice arrives?
We can help organise the notice, correspondence, factual history and supporting documents, subject to availability and written engagement. An appropriately qualified adviser should confirm the legal issues and response deadlines. Contacting us does not extend a deadline.
Can you help with ACNC registration and DGR endorsement?
We provide factual and administrative support, including gathering existing records and organising material requested by your advisers. We do not determine legal or tax eligibility or provide tax agent services. The ACNC decides charity registration and the ATO decides DGR endorsement. Registration does not automatically give a charity DGR status.
Do you provide insolvency or restructuring advice?
No. We help organise records and coordinate information for your chosen qualified advisers. We do not determine solvency or restructuring eligibility, prepare statutory restructuring plans, or act as a registered liquidator or restructuring practitioner.
Can you guarantee an approval, decision or outcome?
No. Decisions remain with the relevant authority, regulator, assessor or other decision-maker. We do not guarantee approvals, grants or other outcomes. Nothing on this page excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
What does Jessie Emily Zhouand do at Connect Australia?
Jessie works on chronologies, document organisation, factual submissions, charity administration, regulatory coordination and community advocacy. She works directly with clients and with Massud on the administrative parts of complex matters.
Does Connect Australia provide migration assistance?
No. Connect Australia does not provide visa advice, migration assistance or migration representation. Administrative support for regulated professionals does not extend to advising on their clients’ visa or migration matters.
How do we start, and does an enquiry create an engagement?
Email admin@connectaustralia.com.au with a brief outline and any stated deadline. Do not send sensitive documents initially. An enquiry alone does not create an engagement. Work starts only after written acceptance and the agreed commencement requirements have been met.
