About us
Connect Australia is led by Massud Zhouand and Jessie Zhouand. Together, we combine strategic engagement, structured writing and disciplined delivery for organisations facing complex applications, government processes and regulatory pressure.
We bring the facts, evidence, contributors and next actions into one controlled process. When specialist advice is required, we coordinate with the client’s appointed professionals while keeping the practical work moving.
MZ / Complexity and advocacy
Patient and composed under pressure, Massud works through complex systems, competing narratives and bureaucratic obstacles until the issue can be framed, engaged and advanced.
Massud holds an MBA in Applied Finance and an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and is an Associate Member of Engineers Australia (AMIEA). His work also draws on social ecology, complexity theory and narratology.
JZ / Writing and accuracy
Jessie’s core strengths are writing, attention to detail and accuracy. She structures complex material carefully, checks facts and evidence, and keeps applications, submissions and supporting documents clear and consistent.
Jessie is a current law student and holds a Graduate Diploma in Migration Law.

Every external professional is independent and remains responsible for their own advice and services. Any proposed introduction, relationship and scope will be disclosed before appointment. You remain free to assess the provider independently and choose whom you engage.

Directors need reliable information, controlled records and qualified advice early. Connect Australia helps organise the practical work around that advice so decisions are not made from incomplete documents, scattered correspondence or unmanaged pressure.
Build the chronology, locate books and records, identify notices, creditor issues, contracts, staff obligations and the immediate questions requiring professional advice.
Prepare an organised briefing and coordinate the director’s work with a registered liquidator, restructuring practitioner, insolvency accountant or lawyer selected for the matter.
Separate urgent tasks from noise, track commitments, organise correspondence and keep the director focused on documented, authorised and professionally reviewed actions.
Support document delivery, operational handover, remediation tasks and the practical implementation of decisions made with the appointed professionals.
Service boundary: Connect Australia does not determine solvency, provide safe-harbour, restructuring, insolvency, legal, tax or financial advice, act as an external administrator or liquidator, or recommend asset transfers. Connect Australia supports failure investigation, evidence development, equipment review and specialist sourcing for critical rotating equipment across industrial, mining and agricultural operations.
Gearboxes, agitators, screens, crushers, mills, pumps, shafts, bearings and related equipment. The work is organised around failure history, operating conditions, maintenance records, available drawings, inspection evidence and the practical requirements of the plant.
Authorised sourcing support for redundant, critical or no-longer-manufactured industrial, mining and agricultural gearboxes, including bevel-helical, planetary, inline-helical and worm-shaft configurations.
Assignments may involve condition and failure evidence, specification review, equivalent or replacement sourcing, repair-path coordination and liaison with independent manufacturers, repairers and engineering specialists.
Technical boundary: Formal engineering certification, statutory sign-off and regulated technical opinions are provided only by an appropriately qualified or registered practitioner where required. Product availability and suitability remain subject to technical verification and supplier confirmation for the particular application.
How an engagement works
A short discussion to understand the decision, deadline and immediate risk. No sensitive documents are required at this stage.
We define the objective, workstreams, authority boundaries, deliverables, fee and the specialist advisers who may be needed.
We organise the evidence, identify gaps, coordinate contributors and prepare the application, submission or response.
We support meetings, manage correspondence, track commitments and help implement the agreed operational response.
Indicative engagements
Each mandate starts with an agreed scope and authority boundary. Fees are paid in advance by phase. External adviser and specialist costs are quoted separately and require approval.
Full name, telephone number and relevant documents are required in advance. Includes up to one hour of pre-reading and a one-hour consultation.

The $850 initial consultation requires the client’s full name, telephone number and relevant documents in advance. Documents are supplied only after the engagement and secure exchange method are confirmed. The fee includes up to one hour of pre-reading and a one-hour meeting.
Where work must start within 24 hours or be completed outside the agreed delivery window, an urgency loading is confirmed before work begins. Connect Australia does not charge success fees or guarantee regulatory, funding or endorsement outcomes.
Your choice of provider
Connect Australia works with your preferred provider. We coordinate the facts, documents, contributors, implementation and stakeholder engagement while each adviser remains responsible for their own professional scope.
If you ask us to introduce one of our preferred partners, we will disclose the proposed relationship and scope before any engagement. You are welcome to assess that provider independently and remain free to choose another provider.
