Crises rarely arrive one at a time. A regulator, a funder, a bank, a dispute among the board and a staffing problem tend to turn up in the same fortnight, and the director trying to hold all of it is also the person expected to keep making good decisions.
Connect Australia provides the coordination layer: separating what is genuinely urgent from what merely feels urgent, protecting the decision-making process, organising the advisers and building an action plan somebody actually owns.
What we do
Separate the urgent from the noise
Almost everything presents as urgent during a crisis. Very little is. We work through what has a hard deadline attached, what has a legal or regulatory consequence, what is merely uncomfortable, and we put the list in that order.
Protect the decision process
Decisions made under pressure, without records, outside proper authority, are the ones that cause the second crisis. We make sure decisions are documented, taken by the people entitled to take them, and supported by advice where advice is required.
Organise the advisers
Multiple advisers working from different versions of the facts is expensive and dangerous. One coordinated brief, one chronology, one document set.
Build a plan that survives the week
Owners, deadlines, dependencies and a standing review point. A plan nobody is tracking is a list.
Where our work stops
Connect Australia does not provide legal, tax or financial advice and is not a law practice, tax agent or financial adviser. We work with your preferred provider or, with prior disclosure, can introduce an independent partner for you to assess and choose. We do not determine solvency, provide safe-harbour, restructuring or insolvency advice, or act as an external administrator. Where financial distress is part of the picture, see our pre-insolvency coordination page and get a qualified adviser involved early.
Common questions
How quickly can you start?
The fit check can usually happen the same or next business day. Tell us the deadline and the immediate risk in your first message so we can triage properly.
Is this confidential?
The initial conversation is confidential and deliberately light on detail. Do not send confidential documents, personal records or privileged material until an engagement and a secure exchange method have been confirmed with you in writing.
What does it cost?
Engagements start with the $850 initial strategic consultation. Ongoing strategic support, where a matter needs reserved capacity, starts from $7,500 + GST per month.
Start with a confidential fit check
The first conversation is short and costs nothing. We want to understand the decision you are facing, the deadline attached to it and whether this is work we should be doing at all. You do not need to send documents at that stage.
If the matter is a fit, the next step is usually the $850 initial strategic consultation, which includes up to one hour of pre-reading and a one-hour meeting.
